Make & Take: Beginner Soapmaking 101
Join us for an intimate hands-on workshop in Oakville where you'll learn the art of crafting soap from scratch using the traditional cold process method. In this class, we’ll guide you through the essential steps, from choosing oils and fragrances to safely working with lye. By the end, you'll take home your own batch of beautifully handmade soap, perfect for personal use or gifting. This class is ideal for beginners and those looking to expand their DIY skills. All materials and safety equipment will be provided*.
Fragrance oils will be provided in the workshop to add scent to your soap. If attendees wish to use essential oils they are welcome to bring their own to add in. We ask that you let us know what essential oil you will be bringing so that we can confirm it is skin safe.
This is an 18+ event.
All workshops are held at our shop, located at 481 North Service Rd W, unit A12 in Oakville, We are between the Dorval & Third Line exits off the QEW.
Please note: Full payment for this workshop is required upon registration. Sorry, there are NO REFUNDS for this workshop if cancelled less than 1 week before the workshop. A $15 materials fee is included in the cost of the workshop. Workshop size is limited to 6 participants and we require a minimum of 4 people hold the workshop; if the minimum is not met by 48 hours before the workshop, it will be cancelled and all fees will be refunded.

*Safety glasses, face masks, nitrile gloves, and aprons will be provided. Participants must have arms and legs covered and wear closed toed shoes.
